• Do you accept insurance?

Insurance coverage is dependent on your clinician. Before your consultation, please let us know if you plan to use insurance.

*Neurofeedback is not reimbursed by most companies, so you should expect to pay out-of-pocket for this service.

If applicable, we will collect your co-pay when you come to your scheduled appointment.

  • What happens during the (no cost) consultation?

The practitioner will schedule a 15-minute telephone consultation to discuss your specific needs and treatment options.

  • What happens after my QEEG assessment?

We conduct a thorough analysis of your brain wave activity and provide you with your brain map.

After that, we schedule an appointment for you to come back, so we can go over the results together and talk about how to move forward. You can schedule this feedback session at the time of your evaluation appointment.

  • What does a typical neurofeedback session look like?

Each session lasts 50 minutes. Training is approximately 20-30 minutes and involves watching a game on the computer. We utilize the remaining time to discuss behavioral and cognitive ways to assist in treatment.

  • How many neurofeedback sessions will I need?

Clients typically reach the most success after 40 sessions. Treatment duration is individualized though and based on brain-based progress.

  • Is neurofeedback painful or uncomfortable?

No, neurofeedback is non-evasive and not painful. Nothing enters into your head. We simply collect the electrical activity that is already occurring in your brain so you can learn to change it.

  • How often do I need to do neurofeedback training sessions?

Research shows that at least two appointments per week are necessary to show progress. After 20 sessions, it is possible to reduce session frequency to one time per week.

  • Am I a good candidate for neurofeedback?

Research shows that neurofeedback training can be effective for those with symptoms of ADHD, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, and Autism. The minimum age for treatment is 7 years old, due to the need to sit still during the training.
